GFM Focused on Employee Development

In December last year we announced to our employees that we would be focusing on investing in their development.

We have been working very hard over the past few months and now we are delighted to make some exciting announcements about delivering on this promise.

Some of the key training initiatives we will be launching this month are outlined below:

E-LEARNING

We are delighted to kick off our training initiative in collaboration with the award-winning company Video-Arts. These bite-size videos are hugely engaging with the benefit of not being too long!
Famous faces star in over 400 videos and E-leaning courses designed to help our employees develop their workplace skills. They feature famous actors (like Robert Webb, Dawn French and John Cleese) and are designed to be entertaining and humorous.

PERSONAL BRANDING & COMMS TRAINING

‘Personal brand’ impacts how everyone chooses to operate in their career and also in their personal life, so we will be running workshops to help our employees grow their personal brand to learn more, build better relationships and deliver better results. We know that effective communication and leadership are closely intertwined, so we see this as priority investment for all our leaders.

MENTORING & HR WORKSHOPS

Mentoring is a popular and proven development tool used in a wide variety of organisations. Usually the mentor has more experience in a given field and their job is to guide, coach and empower employees to achieve more than you would from other types of development opportunities. A new mentor group for leaders will be created and will initially go through best practice training.

YEAR OF ACHIEVEMENT PROGRAM

This programme encapsulates all the above training and more into a step-by-step workbook and records your progress through our training journey. The Year Of Achievement program is a key investment we are making in all existing and new staff and is an integral part of our vision to continue evolving our business and become the best and most respected contact centre we can be. This is a collaborative and varied program that is designed to empower our staff and encourages them to participate in self-learning journals, workbooks, E learning and classroom training.
